good for him

Colts coach Tony Dungy seems like standup guy. His faith got him through what had to be the worst days of his life last season, after his son comitted suicide. His team regrouped after a disappointing loss to Pittsburgh in the 2006 playoffs and went all the way Sunday night in the Super Bowl.

I can't help but be happy from Peyton, too. Manning lived his dad's shadow for the first through years of his career. Then, he had to deal with the label of never winning the big one. Now he has.

On a side note, my nephew, 9-year-old Patrick Maxwell, who lives in suburban Chicgao, is probably crying in his Cheerios this morning. Hey Pat, that's why there's always next year.

I felt really bad for Bears fans... I didn't have a clue what all the hubbub was about - what's his name - Rex? Now I know. He really choked. Peyton Manning rocked! I hope the Bears can come back like the '72 Dolphins. Then Patrick can eat his Cheerios in peace. :)
