Family photo

Finally found my camera, somehow buried in the rubble of the move. Here are Uncle John and Emily.

Happy hoops.

Sports Gal

My uncle loves Bill Simmons, who writes a column for ESPN.com

His wife did her NCAA Tournament picks this week.

Hilarious.

This is how all sports wives deal with/think about their significant others. Just ask Erin.

Green all over

Happy St. Pat's.

Nothing like Guinness to celebrate the holiday -- not surprisingly my fav of the year.

Women's NCAA bracket came out today. Some surprises. If UConn and Rutgers advance, they play each other to make the Final Four (a little unfair). Maryland gets a No. 1 seed, Stanford a No. 2 (a little controversial although the Cardinal do have a tendency to choke). Michigan State goes to the WNIT.

I know, breaking down the chick hoops bracket is not cool. But we are headed to the Final Four in Florida in a few weeks -- gotta love it.

I have three brackets in the men's tournament. Louisville beating Texas in the final -- OK so that is going out on a limb but you have take chances to win the cash.

Have fun filling in your brackets.

Drinking (rules)

This story on AOL counts down the top 10 drinking countries in the world.

I have spent time in only a few foreign countries -- Canada, Mexico, England, Wales, Scotland and Poland.

After my trip to Poland last fall I am shocked they did not make the list. I can tell you from experience, the Poles can shoot vodka with the best of them.

Tournament time

All right, so it isn't quite time to fill out the office pool bracket yet.

But champiohip week -- which includes all the conference tournaments -- is in progress. Watching this week can give you a good idea of who is on a roll going into the NCAA Tournament.

We are headed out to the Big East women's tourney this weekend. A good primer for the NCAA Final Four, which is in sunny Florida this year.

Living in Connecticut, we could use some sun.

Passion for chick hoops

I post this mostly for the sake of my brother, who lives in Poland. Most have already seen this guy losing his mind on SportsCenter. He is the coach of the Michigan women's team -- which blew an 18-point lead against Wisconsin and perhaps its shot at the NCAA Tournament.

The passion is impressive.
