Looking forward to it

Huge weekend coming up in Iowa -- the Maxwells, Needhams and Spurns families all at my folks house at once.

This might be the biggest thing to happen in Waterloo since -- hmmmmm, nothing big ever happens in Waterloo.

Nice visit

Great to have Erin's folks in for the week. Enjoyed tours of the Mark Twain house, Harriet Beecher Stowe house and ESPN. Had a good time visiting with Uncle John and Aunt Connie. (Maybe my parents will meet them someday.) Went to Mystic, Kent and Litchfield.

Got to this city for a couple of days this weekend. Stayed in the financial district. Had a blast hanging out with Fancy, Lesley, Nate and Beth. Hope that Beth had a great 30th!

Little by little, I am really starting to enjoy New York -- and living so close.

exploring connecticut

A couple of guys I work with had family outings planned this week -- to Maine and to Cape Cod.

I figured getting out of town sounded like a good thing so Erin and I took a day trip to try and scout out a couple of places to take her folks. We went to the Litchfield Hills portion of Connecticut.
