Fall is upon us

The leaves are starting to change and it is getting cold outside.

We are planning a trip to Ohio for a wedding. Can't wait to see Erin's family.

Got a new dress today -- which some think I can't wear. Whatever. Just because I don't wear them often doesn't mean I don't look cute in dresses.

Hawkeyes win -- Cyclowns lose.

Cowboys win -- despite Romo.

I love football.

Hawkeyes-Cyclones

Today is the biggest game of the year. I hope the Hawkeyes don't choke it away. Kirk Ferentz's kryptonite seems to be the Cyclones. He is 3-6 against them.

Katie is. She has been practicing so hard, sometimes she needs a nap.

Iowa is already 1-0 (but based on watching that game last night, not counting on much). NFL opens tonight.

ESPN The Picnic

So, unlike newspapers, the internet is making money.

To that end, ESPN shuts down an amusement park every year and holds a picnic for its employees. Everything -- rides, food, beer -- is free. It really makes you feel appreciated. It is pretty cool.
