Lazy me

Went to Erin's cousin's wedding over the weekend. Had a great time. Cheers to Syd and Brad, who I am sure will have a long life together. I posted a bunch of pictues on facebook and since I am too lazy to post them all again, click here to get a look.

Good to see family

Took a quick two-day trip back to Waterloo to go to the funeral. It was a sad occasion but great to see old friends, who are like family. Karen, Lee Ann, Tonya and Michelle have been around for 25 years -- which makes us all old. But it is good to know I can always get back together with them and it's like we never missed a day. Of course, it was also great to see my folks. Dad seems to be enjoying retirement.

This weekend we get to go to Ohio for Erin's cousin's wedding. Should be a great time. We will also hook up with some Detroiters in Toledo. Looking forward to it.
