40 isn't so bad

We had a great time in Vegas visiting with all our old friends. Saturday's dinner at Mesa Grille at Caesars was the perfect start to a great weekend. My friends from high school, college and a couple of newspapers along the way made the weekend a great success. I can't thank everyone enough for coming. I am sure Vegas was thrilled as well -- with all the money the group of us left in their slot machines. Here are some highlights.

Christmas was great, Happy New Year

I have been lazy about updating this since Brian, my bro, is on Facebook, he pretty much knows what is going on. But, for those of you who refuse to be the last on Earth to get on that site, here are a couple of photo galleries from Christmas.

We spent a couple of days at Erin's folks house and then I went down to Chicago to hang with Bridget's family. Patrick and Grace got a wii from their favorite aunts and we played non-stop for three days. Love that game.

On the horizon? My birthday. Vegas. Be there.
