busy, busy, busy

Yes, I am still here.

Since I last posted the Tigers season has ended. They lost last night to the Rangers, who will be heading to their second World Series in as many years. To be fair, in 50 years of the franchise, they have been there twice. So good for them.

Erin's folks are in town this week so it is better that the Tigers aren't playing. Then I would want to watch baseball, and that's not good when you have guests.

So, goodbye baseball season. Hello, to football. Go Hawkeyes and Cowboys. And Lions.

maybe one day left

Tigers got crushed, 10-1, by the Yankees in Game 4 of the ALCS on Tuesday night. The deciding game of the series is Thursday.

Doug Fister, one of the best pickups of the season, will pitch for the Tigers. While he was lights out during the regular season, he struggled a bit in Game 1 at Yankee Stadium.

I hate losing, but I especially hate losing to the Yankees. Let's hope Fister brings his best stuff Thursday.

GO TIGERS!
